Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes — a truly unforgettable sight. After breakfast, ride camels back to Merzouga where your driver awaits for a full day of exploration. Start with a 4x4 drive to a historic kohl mine, then visit nomadic families in their traditional tents and learn about their lifestyle over a cup of Berber tea.
Next, head to Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnaoua music performances from a community with roots in sub-Saharan Africa.
After lunch at a local restaurant, stroll through a palm grove and visit the nearby desert lake, often home to flamingos in season. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Merzouga.

Then head to Erfoud to visit a fossil workshop. Continue through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, arriving at the spectacular Todra Gorges — a deep canyon with towering red rock walls, popular among rock climbers.
